LG V30 to see the light of day on 31 August at IFA 2017


LG V30 is apparently all set to be launched on the 31st of August at IFA 2017, Berlin as the leaked save the date invite says. The behemoth sent out save-the-date invites for an August 31 event in Berlin. The IFA 2017 falls right around the same time, on September 1.

The image shows the date of the unveiling with a sleek letter V in the background. The V series is LG’s premium offering alongside their G series flagships. The LG V30 is a successor to the highly acclaimed V20. The V series pack in features seldom found on smart phones. Famous for their secondary display on top, the V10 and V20 were some of the best offerings by LG.

The LG V30 is rumored to have the same display as the LG G6, known as the Full vision display. The V20 had an OLED panel on top for notifications and quick access to apps. The V30 is said to lose the secondary panel and opt for a full OLED display measuring at around 6 inches. Like its predecessor, it might feature a quad DAC with all the flagship specs.

IFA 2017, the annual tech trade show is scheduled for September 1, in Berlin. The August 31 date points towards a pre-IFA launch. What does LG have up its sleeves for August 31, only time will tell. Watch this space for updates!
