UMIDIGI’s most awaited Crystal bezel-less phone is finally here after months of downtime. UMIDIGI seem to have perfected the device both on the outside and inside in this interval of time and is now ready to launch it. So today we are getting to know the full specifications of the device; keep reading to learn more!
The UMIDIGI Crystal comes sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD display by SHARP, coated in 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Thanks to these factors the smartphone is able to use about 30% less energy to reproduce the same image. The 2.5D glass coating also extends to the back of the smartphone, giving the Crystal a super smooth look.
Under the hood we find aĀ Mediatek octa-core A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, which should be plenty enough to run most apps and games smoothly, with very good multi-tasking. There’s also a cheaper version of the Crystal which will instead come with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a quad-core Mediatek chipset clocked at 1.5Ghz. Both variants will feature a good sized 3000mAh capacity battery.
Gizchina News of the week
UMIDIGI’s Crystal sports 13MP and 5MP cameras on the back, with one featuring a wide lens and the other a telephoto one. Together they can help capturing photos with more details in low light conditions or applying the bokeh effect.
The UMIDIGI Crystal will be running the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, meanwhile the fingerprint scanner has been placed at the back just below the two rear facing cameras.
You can now subscribe to the presale event over at UMIDIGI’s official website. Presale will begin on August 15th at 12:00 PM CET, with a starting price tag of $99.99 for the cheaper version; with shipping already on the 20th. Click here to learn more about the device.
