Blackview BV4000 IP68 rugged phone to come with two rear cameras

Blackview are apparently working on a new and affordable IP68 rated rugged phone, namely called Blackview BV4000. The handset has been listed on Blackview’s website and it apparently sports two rear cameras. The company has just released a teaser video about the phone, let’s have a look:

With this teaser Blackview wants to show the simple design behind the BV4000, as opposite to many other rugged smartphones which are thick and have unattractive looks.

The Blackview BV4000 will be packing a 4.7-inch HD display coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood lies a Mediatek MT6580A processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. On the rear of the phone we find a 2MP + 8MP dual camera setup.

Gizchina News of the week

Blackview’s  BV4000 will be fueled by a 3680mAh capacity Li-ion battery, support dual SIM dual standby, GPS and run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The handset should be released by the end of August but we aren’t aware of the pricing yet. Stay tuned to learn more!
