Top 5 Chinese Smartphones for Under $100

1. Xiaomi Redmi 4A Pro

Xiaomi Redmi 4a pro

As in most of our under top under $100 lists, we’ll begin with a Xiaomi device – the Xiaomi Redmi 4A Pro. This compact 5-inch handset is powered by an efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A Pro also comes with an high resolution 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie snapper and a big (for the size) 3120mAh battery. The smartphone is available in a Global version so that means it supports 4G LTE on band 20 (among others), rather crucial in Europe; on the negative side there’s no fingerprint scanner, so you’ll be forced to use either a password or a pattern to unlock your phone.

2. AllCall Rio S

Next on the list we have the AllCall Rio S, a device which is currently on presale but should be delivering relatively good performance paired with a quite nice design. The AllCall Rio S will indeed feature a big 5.5-inch HD IPS display coated in 3D curved glass, a glossy back and two rear cameras of 8MP and 2MP resolution; the selfie snapper will be 2MP as well.

Under the hood we’ll find a MediaTek MT6737 CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable through microSD. On the connectivity side we have support for 4G LTE networks, including band 20; the built-in battery has a capacity of 3200mAh.

3. Uhans Note 4

Since we can’t list the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 as it sells for more than $100, we’ll add the device that shamelessly gets the closest to it – the Uhans Note 4. Uhans’ smartphone is -according to the company itself – a clone of the more notorious Xiaomi handset.

I bought a LeEco Le S3 X622 for $100 yesterday. Too bad no more updates and stuck in Marshmallow.

      wrong move ^^

Buying old devices can be tempting but without OS upgrades, apps will become unstable or even incompatible.

Android 6.0 is good to run most common apps at least year 2020. I bought the X626 last month (the 4/64GB) for less than 120$

Not bad, just flash the LOS rom on your device and profit. I’m sure Oreo will be available for your device.
