LeEco Le Pro 3 now up for grabs at just $200

LeEco Le Pro 3 is LeEco’s 2016 flagship offering. Launched at a price towering over $300, the smartphone is now available for a mere $200 on the Amazon US website.

On the spec front, the LeEco Le Pro 3 sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080p. Under the hood lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, which most flagships of 2016 sported, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. On the back is a 16MP f/2.0 sensor which can shoot in 4K. On the front is an 8MP snapper. The phone is fueled by a 4070mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 via USB Type C port.

Other than the usual connectivity options, the phone sports an IR blaster along with Dolby Atmos Audio. The fingerprint scanner lies on the back. The phone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 with EMUI 5.8 on top, but won’t be receiving any updates.

Gizchina News of the week

The price drop can be attributed to the dwindling finances of the smartphone manufacturer. Since the financial problems have begun, even the software updates have been stopped. The Le Pro 3 is a flagship with specs that outperform many smartphones of 2017, and although not supported by the manufacturer, there is an official Lineage OS ROM based on Android Nougat 7.1.x for the Letter Pro 3. Personally speaking this is a pretty sweet deal. You don’t get flagship specs at $200, which is exactly what the Le Pro 3 is offering. So if you want a phone that does everything a flagship can at a cheap price and don’t care about the release date, the LeEco Let Pro 3 is right for you.

For this price it is a steal. For ppl that are not afraid to tinker with the ROM and switch to LineageOS.
