Oppo F5 to launch soon in these Asian countries

No it hasn’t been unveiled officially yet, but it will do so soon according to rumors. The Oppo F5 is scheduled to appear later on this month but all we knew so far was that Philippines would be the first country to welcome it.

Oppo however confirmed today, that the device will be available in several more Asian markets at the time of its launch, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. No one knows obviously if these are the ONLY markets it will be available to, or if this is considered as the first “wave” and others will soon follow.

In any case, this info doesn’t change what we do know so far about the device: it will be Oppo’s first 18:9 model with FHD+ display (2160 x 1080 pixels) but it will also include a groundbreaking” A.I. Beauty Recognition technology that’s baked into the handset. The tech uses artificial intelligence to beautify selfie shots.

Oppo teased us saying:

“The A.I. will self-learn and enhance each shot, as it takes more and more selfies”

… so we will just have to wait until October 26 to see for ourselves its capabilities.
