India Smartphones maker Lava has announced a refresh of its Windows-powered Helium series laptop which it claims is the “widest screen and lightest notebook” The new entrant dubbed Lava Helium 12 is just an incremental upgrade over the first windows powered Helium series laptop.The Helium 12 differs from the Helium 14 in dimensions, display size, and camera.
The Lava Helium 12 features a 12.5-inch IPS Backlit display with a 1366×768 pixel.One disappointing bit is that the display is not a touchscreen, but that could be pardoned for the asking price.It comes with a VGA webcam for video calling capabilities.
The portable PC sports an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor clocked at 1.88GHz with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB eMMC, expandable up to 128GB with microSD card slot, and with support for HDD up to 1TB.

The laptop boots Windows 10 Home OS out of the box with lifelong free Windows Defender and powered by a 10000mAh battery. The lava helium 12 features two USB ports: a micro USB 2.0 port and a micro USB 3.0 port which can be used for data transfer.
