Presales for the new Meiigoo S8 are apparently going pretty well, because the company just reported over 15.000 units gone already. And that’s quite a nice number to reach for this newly-founded chinese brand in matter of just five days.
Apparently, the users are liking the design and rounded shape of Meiigoo S8 along the main selling point – huge 6,1-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. And for the looks it also doesn’t hurt to have fancy dual 3D curved glass for the refined design either. Check out the unboxing video below for a better idea about the phone.

When it comes to hadrware, the Meiigoo S8 is powered by Mediatek MT6750T chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android OS v7.1 (Nougat) out of the box and comes equipped with a 3300 mAh non-removable battery. Camera equipment consists of dual rear 13MP+5MP combo and 5MP selfie shooter in the front. And we can’t also miss out on the fingerprint scanner located in the rear. Since i am in North America the Leagoo S8 has the band 5 LTE i need where the Meiigoo S8 doesn’t. Otherwise i would have chosen the Meiigoo S8 over it tbh, for it’s bigger screen and bigger battery.
