Samsung
One-UI-9
Samsung is expanding its Android 17 rollout to more Galaxy phones, including older flagships and mid-range models. The update, which arrives as One UI 9, now covers several generations of the Galaxy S and Z series, along with a growing number of Galaxy A phones.
The rollout started slowly, but Samsung is now reaching more devices. If you own a Galaxy phone, here is the current list of models receiving the update.

Galaxy S series

Samsung has expanded Android 17 to its recent flagships, including the Galaxy S23 family. The current list includes:
  • Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra and S26 FE
  • Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 FE and S25 Edge
  • Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra and S24 FE
  • Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra
This is good news for owners of older flagship phones. The Galaxy S23 series, launched in 2023, is now included in the rollout.

Galaxy Z foldables

Samsung is also bringing One UI 9 to several generations of its foldable phones. The supported models currently include:
The list covers both recent foldables and the previous generation. However, the update may not reach every user at the same time.

Galaxy A series joins the rollout

Samsung is now expanding Android 17 to more affordable phones, too. The current list includes:
The Galaxy A series is an important part of Samsung’s lineup, so expanding the update to these models should bring the new software to more users.

How to check for Android 17

Samsung releases major updates in batches. This means your phone may be eligible but still show no update notification.
To check manually, open Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update is not available yet, check again later.
One detail stands out: Samsung has not started rolling out Android 17 to its Galaxy tablets, according to the current list. That may change as the rollout continues.
For now, the update covers a wide range of Galaxy phones, but availability can vary by region. If your model is listed, you may still need to wait for the update to reach your device.
