In a similar manner, it unveiled the galaxy J2 2017 in India recently, Samsung mobile has once again silently unveiled the Samsung galaxyJ7+ and J7 core in the Philippines. With model number c710/SM-C710F, the Samsung Galaxy J7+ is currently listed on Samsung mobile Philippines website, Lazada and Abenson retailer sites with a price tag of ₱ 19,990.00. Lazada currently has the J7+ in stock while it is listed on Abenson as coming soon. At that price range, the device will have to compete against the likes of LG V20, Zenfone 4 selfie pro and Sony Xperia XA1 ultra.

The highlights of the Galaxy J7+ is its dual 13MP+5MP rear camera setup with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture and Samsung’s Live Focus feature. The device flaunts a 5.5-inch FHD Super AMOLED display and powered by an Octa-core chipset with two distinct clusters, running at 2.39GHz and 1.69 GHz, respectively. The exact chipset is unknown, but it is most likely the MediaTek Helio P25.

Supporting the unknown SoC is 4GB RAM and an internal storage of 32GB. The device supports an external storage slot for memory expansion of up to 128 GB using microSD card.

The galaxy J7 Core appears to be a watered-down version of the Galaxy J7 (2017). Virtually everything about it looks basic but retains the same battery size as the J7+. It features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and powered by Exynos 7870 coupled with only 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. For photography, the J7 Core uses a 13MP rear camera with  f/1.9 aperture and a measly 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2  aperture and selfie flash.
