Case renders for the Galaxy A5 (2018) show up online

Samsung’s mid-range A-devices aren’t exactly the most interesting devices, but they’re decently solid options for many people. The Galaxy A-devices are updated annually to ensure their specs are always up-to-date, though it does make things somewhat confusing.

Some new case renders for the upcoming Galaxy A5 (2018) have just surfaced online, and they present us with some interesting details. The renders show that the Galaxy A5 (2018) smartphones will, like the Galaxy S8, have an Infinity display and a rear fingerprint sensor. The sensor is also below the camera instead of beside it, which is a nice change.

Since the Galaxy A-series of devices are updated every year, we should be looking towards a January 2018 launch. Rumors have also been going around that the A5 and A7 will be renamed as the A8 and A8 Pro, though that would then get it confused with the actual Galaxy A8. We’ll just have to wait what happens when the device gets released.
