Chuwi CoreBook gets 8 GB RAM if Indiegogo funding reaches $100k

Chuwi CoreBook

The Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the new Chuwi CoreBook started just about two weeks ago, but they are already reporting that the main target goal is 100 % completed. So now it’s time for some extra stretch goals and seems like if the raised money can reach $100.000 mark, then the 2-in-1 tablet will get a RAM boost to 8 GB for free !

Originally it got listed only with 6 GB so it would be a welcome change for sure. The hardware in general is pretty good with the CoreBook being the first Chuwi model to be featuring the Intel Core M processor, specifically M3-7Y30. Aside of that it can offer 13,3-inch fully laminated OGS FullHD screen, 128 GB of internal eMMC storage, fingerprint scanner, 37Wh battery with 12V/3A fast charger, stylus with 1024 pressure levels support and more.

There is still a super early bird promo price available in the Indiegogo campaign and you can get just the tablet for $399 or the combo package with the keyboard dock and pen for $439. Estimated shipping to the backers is probably in March 2018, so check it out if you are interesting in this nifty convertible.
