Today, we’re going to have a closer look at a smartphone we recently talked about, the Energizer® ENERGY E520 LTE. The handset is of the rugged kind and it packs some relatively good hardware along with a large 4000mAh battery. Let’s check it out in the video tour down below!
As we can see in the video, the Energizer® ENERGY E520 LTE features an anti-shock and waterproof body that has managed to earn an international military standard IP68 rating.
The smartphone can indeed be submerged under water for as long as half an hour at a depth of 1.5 meters. The ENERGY E520 LTE is also built with reinforced materials and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating on top of the display – an ultra resistant glass characterized by its finesse and strength – which will allow it to survive falls of up to 1.5 meters of height.

Lastly, the Energizer® ENERGY E520 LTE also breaks all the aesthetic rules for rugged phones, thanks to its understated, elegant and refined look, wrapped up in a thickness of just 11.1mm. In some ways it does represent a new benchmark for durable phones, even though it probably looks more like a classic smartphone.
