Endurance king Oukitel K10 is here, presales up for $249.99

Oukitel K10

The self proclaimed endurance kings is here to try to ascend to the throne and objectively speaking the new Oukitel K10 has pretty much a big chance actually usurping it. The phone is out there in the presales starting today January 15th and you can find it on Gearbest for a discounted price of $249.99, down from $299.99 up until January 29th.

Oukitel K10 is banking its power and the whole slogan “Endurance King.Never Stop” on the 11.000 mAh SCUD battery, which should theoretically last up for a full week of usage. And to fuel it they also packed in a new 5V/5A fast charger, which decimated all the competition in the charging speed tests. You can find the last charging test with the final optimized version of the software in the video below.

But Oukitel K10 wants to stand out of the crowd not just with its battery, but also with prismatic curved front sceen or mix of metal and leather on the back. As for the hardware K10 can offer 6-inch AUO FHD+ screen, Helio P23 processor, 6 GB RAM, rear fingerprint scanner, 21MP + 8MP rear cameras, 13MP+8MP front cameras and Android 7.1.1 Nougat as the OS.

Unlike the predecessors the phone will be available in two color versions, whole black and stylish black with gold. As mentioned before the first exclusive presale is up on Gearbest with the special $249.99 price and you can find out all the information about it or the linked giveaways on the official website.

What for? Oukitel is plain rubbish. Honestly look the other way around. ANYTHING but this company.

Not only mine but also a few of my colleagues. Bought several different ones – from k4000 (the “unbreakable” one from youtube), k4000pro (the “more unbreakable” from YT), k6000 and k10000.

          Where to start?
          1. Starting with the k4-line -> outkitel promised an update to Android 6.0 in 2016. None, zero, nada till now (only some very unofficial semi-broken custom 6.0 frankenbuild hacks).
          2. Then — one of the more unbreakable phones (k4000pro — see promotional material e.g. hammering in nails) simply broke — fell down from 1 meter to linoleum (so – a “normal” semi-soft ground). Result? Spider-web on screen.
3 Even with 5.1 the updates were simply broken. e.g. one of the official updates broke deep sleep of the SoC resulting in <1 day on battery. The solution was a full flash-back (with MTK Flash Tool) to an earlier (less broken) version.
4 Two of three k4000 pro broke after one year of usage — one started to shut down, displaying weird battery results and then one day stopped charging when turned on. Then simply stopped charging.
Second – stopped charging… with a different battery it worked for a few weeks then broke (plain dead, no recovery nothing).
5 k10000 — advertised as 10.000 mAh battery phone. In reality it was 5.500 mayyybe 6.000 mAh.

Lies, lies lies everywhere. Oukitel – Never ever again.
