Almost every smartphone manufacturer has now into production a device equipped with the trendy 18:9 full-screen design. Bluboo isn’t any different and today they come out with their take on it, which also appears to be influenced by the latest Xiaomi Mi MIX2 as far as design goes. Let’s now watch an unboxing and first look video about the phone.
As we can see in the video, the Bluboo D5 comes with rounded corners and a few unique physical features. Its rear camera and fingerprint sensor come with the same size and round shape, with the fingerprint sensor flaunting a golden ring, which makes the phone look slightly more premium. The 3.5mm headphone jack remains on the top, micro USB port located on the bottom, so you can listen to music while charging the phone – isn’t that amazing?
The Bluboo D5 is a 5.5-inch18:9 full-screen device covered by the highly transparent 4th generation Corning Gorilla Glass. The D5 will come in two version, a 4G version and one that only supports 3G connectivity. The 4G version will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the 3G variant will be equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
In the box, accessories will include the charger, USB cable, pure phone cover, film protector, slot pin, warranty card and user manual. All the items above, including the Bluboo D5, will be sold for under $100; so, if pricing is all you care about, Bluboo wasn’t too wrong in calling it the Mi Mix 2 budget killer.
The Bluboo D5 may come to the market before March, check the updates on the Bluboo’s official website.
