Samsung Galaxy A8 Star & A8 Lite Gets 3C certification

South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, is on the verge of releasing two smartphones dubbed Galaxy A8 Lite and Galaxy A8 Star. These devices appeared on TENAA a couple of weeks ago with model numbers SM-G8750 and SM-G8850 respectively but now, they have also gotten the approval of Chinese 3C regulatory body which suggests that they could be released anytime soon.

The screenshots obtained from the listing show that these smartphones will support 15W charging and will be able to burst through 9V at 1.67A along with the regular 5V at 2A. As of now, there are not many details of these smartphones but we should have a 3700 mAh in one of these.

Gizchina News of the week

We don’t specifically know the specs of these smartphones but rumors have suggested that we should expect 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a dual 16 + 24 MP camera setup. These devices should launch in other regions outside China because, in recent times, Samsung has really struggled in the Chinese market and it will be wise for the company to consider other markets while it struggles to find its feet in China.
