The Meizu 16 is scheduled to release in August. Thus, in a month, we will be able to get our hands on the most cost-effective Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone. As you know, there have been rumors this phone will have two variants – one of them will sport an SND845, while the lightened version will carry a Snapdragon 710. This is the same philosophy as the Xiaomi Mi 8 and the VIVO NEX follow. Anyway, today, the Meizu 16 leaked on a photo showing an AnTuTu score of 291.866.

It may sound common, but the thing is the list of the most powerful Android smartphones is led by the Xiaomi Black Shark, which scores 287.759 points. This simply means the Meizu 16 outruns the most powerful Android smartphone by 4000 points. We can’t say it’s a real difference in actual use. But if this is true, the M16 will become the new king.

At the same time, Meizu CEO Huang Zhang who hasn’t appeared in the Meizu community for a long time, yesterday did and answered a few questions. It turns out he was on vacation recently. But he wasn’t wasting time. He published a couple of photos taken by the Meizu 16. Looking at the photos, we shouldn’t underestimate the photographing capabilities of the M16. As a whole, the color reproduction is accurate, and many details have been preserved. Many indoor lights have not been exposed. So we can say the Meizu 16 will come with not only a powerful hardware but with strong shooting features as well.
