Honor 9N, a re-branded Honor 9i confirmed for July 24 launch in India

Honor 9N

Huawei Honor sub-brand is launching a new phone in India on July 24. To build up the pre-release hype, the brand is using the #NOORDINARYBEAUTY hashtag in blue and purple colors – a possible indication that device might be a dual camera phone.

Well, the phone was earlier rumored to be the Honor 9X – a rebranded Honor 9i that was launched alongside the Honor play earlier in China, however, Honor has come out clearly with a new teaser that reveals the device will not only be a dual rear camera phone but also reveals the name. According to the short video teaser released by Honor India on Twitter, the brand will be revealing a new device dubbed the Honor 9N and not the Honor 9X as earlier speculated.

Going by previous reports, the Honor 9N is tipped to be the Indian version of the Honor 9i 2018 which was announced in China a while back. If that’s true, then we expect the Honor 9N to come with the EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo and a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, along with an LED flash. You can feast your eyes on a couple of the Honor 9i/ Honor 9N camera samples here.
