Asus launches Zenfone Max Pro M1 with more RAM and upgraded cameras

Zenfone Max Pro M1

Have you rushed out to get the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1? if not, then you might probably be the happiest as the Taiwanese company has a new variant of the device. The firm has today announced a new version of the device for its Indian fans. The new variant of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has 6GB of RAM over the 3/4GB RAM on the two models previously announced.

It is priced at Rs. 14,999 ($218), and will be exclusively available through Flipkart India starting from July 26th, 2018. At Rs. 14,999 ($218), the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is arguably the only 6G RAM phone with the SD 636 SoC to sell under the Rs. 15,000 price tag in India, and that gives it an edge over the Redmi Note 5 pro with 4GB RAM and the same SoC at about the same price tag. ‘

While there are a couple of launch offers for the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants, ASUS has yet to announce lunch offers available for the 6GB RAM, that would probably be made known when the device goes on sale.

Aside from the boast in RAM size, the new Zenfone Max pro M1 comes with upgraded rear and front-facing cameras. It gets an upgraded 16-megapixel (f2/.0) + 5-megapixel rear camera combination and a 16-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0) over the 13+5MP rear combo and the 8MP front sensor on the 3 and 4GB RAM variants. Other than RAM and camera bumps, the device is essentially the same as the other variants. You can read the full specs here.
