After sending meatloafs and shampoo bottles for the Meizu 16 launch event, Chinese phone manufacturer Meizu will be revealing its latest masterpiece today in Beijing. Gizchina has been invited to the event and we’ve had a talk with Meizu’s Public Relations Manager, who says that this is Meizu’s true flagship and the company has put in the effort this time around to make it stand out from the ever-evolving & improving competition. Meizu is counting on its renovated design and cutting-edge features like the on-screen fingerprint reader to drive sales. Oh, and it’s coolest feature might not even be any of this. From what we’ve heard, it will be one of the most affordable Snapdragon 845 smartphones out there, if not the cheapest one. That means we’re looking at a price tag of around $500. That will definitely be cool if Meizu can pull it off, especially with the on-screen fingerprint reader variant.
