Asus ROG Phone pre-orders start in U.S; shipping starts on October 29

As previously expected, the Taiwanese smartphone maker, Asus, has opened pre-orders for its upcoming Asus ROG Phone in the U.S. Currently, customers can pre-order the device through the official websites of Amazon and Microsoft. The shipments are set to start on October 29.

The Asus ROG Phone is probably one of the most ambitious gaming smartphones. The handset boasts a customized version of the Snapdragon 845, especially boosted for games paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. There is a 6-inch notchless panel, 3D Vapor-cooling chamber to keep the temperatures down, during long gaming sessions. The ROG features a dual camera setup on the rear with 12+8MP sensors. The handset ships with Android 8.1 Oreo right-out-the-box. Keeping the lights on, there is a 4,000mAh battery.

Asus ROG Phone can be purchased for $899,99, but the company is also offering some separated accessories. The TwinView, which adds a second screen to the display, is available for $400. The Mobile Desktop which allows users to connect the phone up to a 4K monitor, keyboard, and mouse costs $300. Profession, allows the user to connect the ROG to a TV and costs $200. Those wishing a protective case will need to pay $60 for an official one, unless that you pre-order it from Amazon that is giving it for free. Since this is a gaming smartphone, Asus will be selling an exclusive gamepad for $90.
