Recently, Madhav Sheth, (Realme CEO) announced on Twitter that Realme might increase the price of their smartphones once Diwali is over and now Realme 2 price is already bumped about Rs 500 ~ and that of Realme C1 has gone up by Rs 1000. Also, the latest release – Realme 2 Pro – was also expected to get hiked, however, that didn’t happen thankfully. Sheth has denied reports of a hike in Realme 2 Pro prices thus confirming that prices of the handset will not be rise due to a tumbling rupee. Furthermore, he addressed this on twitter about the latest hikes saying that Realme has kept their target set on low budget phones but as the Rupee is getting beaten against the Dollar they are compelled to increase the price.

Realme 2 Pro was showcased in three different variants starting off with the first 4GB RAM +64GB inbuilt memory which comes at a reasonable price of Rs 13,990 followed by second variant of 6GB RAM which costs Rs 15,990 and lastly, the high-end variant 8GB RAM with 128GB memory will costs you Rs 17,990. Realme 2 Pro is considered one of the best smartphones which comes in this budget segment.

Unfortunately for Realme, Realme 2 Pro users have experienced a battery draining issue  and immediately Realme has replied to them that they’re working on a patch and will release an OTA soon. On top of that the upcoming software update will not only fix the battery problem but it will optimize the camera function also along with few bug fixes. Realme is releasing the update and if you have not received yet than you have to be a little bit patience or just to make sure you can check in to the software update section falling under the settings menu.
