Huawei P Smart get leaked by French retailer, Kirin 710 and teardrop notch in tow

Well seems that things got messy today in the French retailer Boulanger, when the unreleased Huawei P Smart (2019) got available on their website, even before than Huawei.com. Now the page has been taken down, but not fast enough, since now a plenty of pictures of the smartphone, followed by the complete list of specifications are traveling through the internet.

The Huawei P Smart comes with a 6.2-inch display with a teardrop notch at the top and 1080+ resolution. This version of the smartphone seems to count only with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage. Thankfully the storage can be further increased through the use of a microSD card. The processing power will be ensured by the in-house made Kirin 710 midrange chipset.

The rear of the smartphone features a gradient blue color finish, but a plain black color variant will also be available. The camera department is composed by 13MP+2MP rear setup, that is vertically aligned at the left corner. Moving to the selfie camera, the smartphone boasts an 8MP front-facing snapper, placed in the small teardrop notch.

The smartphone brings a standard rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 running atop. Sadly, it still uses a micro USB port to charge the 3,400mAh battery. The handset also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and brings FM Radio support to the table.

Considering that smartphone popped out for pre-order today, even then for just some hours, we expect to see its availability soon, but of course, Huawei’s website should start the pre-orders. Worth noting that the French website pointed that the shipments would start on January 2. The Huawei P Smart will be available for €250 (~$283) while the P Smart Plus variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will retail for €300 (~340).
