Gizchina News of the week
Ni Fei said that the technical cooperation between Nubia and Qualcomm has already started. As early as 2016, the 5G key technology pre-research was launched and the relevant technology patents were laid out. In 2018, the 5G NR sub-6GHz prototype design was determined, and the trial production was completed in the same year. It also successfully opened the 5G data link and completed the experimental network field test.
Ni Fei stressed that Nubia’s patent and technology layout in the 5G era has matured, and it will be among the first batch of 5G terminal equipment to be released this year. At present, Nubia and Qualcomm have made key technological breakthroughs in the research of the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, the Snapdragon X50 5G modem series, and the RF front-end. Based on Nubia’s mature communication technology, Nubia products in the 5G era will fully combine the strengths of AI+5G+IoT, bringing users a full-time networking experience.
