Apple’s 2019 iPhones to retain the pricing of its 2018 devices

Apple is expected to release three new iPhones in 2019, two of which will feature OLED displays. According to the latest report, this year’s most expensive iPhone model may offer some major upgrades compared to the iPhone XS Max in 2018. Although many Android phone manufacturers no longer use the screen notch design, Apple will continue to use this design this year. It is expected that the notch of the successor models of the iPhone XR will be larger than those of the iPhone XS Max successor, but some prototypes use smaller notch. In addition, the 2019 iPhone may have a new polished coating to help improve the grip of the device and enhance the body’s scratch resistance. 

Another major change to the 2019 iPhone series may be the switch from Apple’s proprietary Lightning interface to USB Type-C. However, there is no confirmation to this and it will not come as a surprise if Apple decides to stick with its Lightning interface. Apple will introduce a new green option for the successor model of the iPhone XR and it will cancel one of the current colour options. iPhone XR is currently available in black, white, yellow, coral, red, and blue. In addition, the successor model of the iPhone XS Max will use a triple rear camera design while the successor model of the iPhone XR will be upgraded to a dual rear camera. 

In terms of price, the price of the three new 2019 iPhones will be the same as last year, that is, the starting price of the iPhone XR successor model may be $749, while the starting price of the two OLED models will be $999 and $1099.
