A few days before the presentation of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones, scheduled for March 26, the number of leaks regarding the new flagships of the Chinese giant is rapidly growing. Today, numerous renderings are going on, advertising material that confirms some of the characteristics of the new flagships, precise data on dimensions and more.
Huawei Netherlands has accidentally uploaded a page on its website promoting the P30 and P30 Pro. The page was since removed but not before we were able to get a bunch of images and learn more on the pre-order bonuses.
We see that both smartphones will come with a waterdrop notch on the front along with a multi-camera setup at the back. The Pro variant will come with four rear cameras, whereas the P30 will have one fewer.
The Pro version should count on the 10X zoom and on the additional ToF sensor, visible on the side of the triple camera. Both models will use a HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, and there will be a 40W fast charging system for Huawei P30 Pro (22.5W for Huawei P30).
The presence of the fingerprint reader on the screen has been confirmed, at least from the images, a function that now seems essential for a flagship phones.
Huawei hasn’t revealed the release date of the smartphones, but it is offering gifts to those who pre-order before April 8, 2019, so that’s a pretty strong indication. If you pre-order the P30, you will get a Sonos One speaker, and if you pre-order the Pro variant, you will get the speaker and a wireless charger.
According to the data shown in the listing, Huawei P30 Pro will have a 6.47 inch OLED screen, HiSilicon Kirin 980 with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory, quadruple rear camera with 40 + 20 + sensors 8 megapixel and ToF sensor, 32 megapixel front camera, 4,200 mAh battery, reverse wireless charging and IP68 certification.
We close this wide overview with some information on the size of the two smartphones. Huawei P30 should measure 149.1 x 71.36 x 7.57 mm and weight 165 grams, whilethe Huawei P30 Pro measures 158 x 73 x 8.41 mm and a weight 192 grams.
The appointment is therefore scheduled for March 26th, but it is likely that in these few days that separate us from the event we will find out more details about the new smartphones.
