With the debut of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X, more and more companies are launching the first signals about their own design trend of 2019. Among these, we find OPPO and Xiaomi. Sharp also appears, with a patent dated back to 2017.
Here’s how Sharp’s foldable smartphone could be!
Sharp is working on a foldable smartphone according to the patent filed with WIPO, the device should have a shell design, similar to rivals such as ZTE Axon M2 and Motorola RAZR.
The images above show us some renderings that imagine what this Sharp device could look like. The shell style allows you to have a large display and – at the same time – no impact on the size of the smartphone, making portability the watchword.
Obviously, keep in mind that the design is certainly not definitive – it is a 2017 document! – and above all this foldable smartphone could not necessarily become a reality. After all, it is still a patent and the doubts about the fact that this model can ever see the light are still strong.
