Huawei’s high-value youth brand, Honor is said to be readying the launch ‘of another premium Smartphone for the 25th of April, though the firm has yet to issue an official invite to that effect.  We reported about an alleged specs sheet of the Honor 20 and Honor 20 pro that emanated from China yesterday giving us an early insight into the hardware it will likely to bring to the table.

Now, reports making the rounds suggest the Honor 20 and 20 Pro would be accompanied by a less powerful variant dubbed the Honor 20 Lite for which we now have a leaked render and some of its alleged specs.

Much like the leaked render of the Honor 20, the 20 lite render shared by Winfuture reveals the most basic of the Honor 20 line up will share some features with the most premium siblings. First, the Honor 20 Lite as you can see will feature a tri-camera setup at the rear, while the fingerprint scanner will sit below the camera at the back, unlike the other two variants with their fingerprint scanner expected to come embedded below the display. Although we haven’t been graced with front view render of the Honor 20 and its pro variant, the 20 lite will come with a screen with a tiny water drop notch and small bezels around it.

The Honor 20 Lite will retain a 3.5mm headphone jack flanked at the bottom by a USB port and speaker grills. Winfuture reports that the device will come fitted with a 6.21-inch 2340 x 1080 display panel with a notch that will be home to a 32MP sensor. And while it was reported earlier that the Honor 20 Pro will get a tri-camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary sensor, a 20MP secondary sensor and an 8MP with 3x optical zoom, the source says the Lite variant will get a primary 24MP f/1.8 sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120° viewing angle and a third 2MP depth sensor.

Under the hood, the device will expectedly use the HiSilicon Kirin 710 Octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage which perhaps can be expanded up to 256GB. The device will most likely be unveiled alongside the Honor 20 and 20 Pro.
