Huawei’s sister brand Honor earlier this month announced its plans to unveil its next flagship device earlier. In a press invite with a picture of London’s iconic Tower Bridge and the hashtag #capturewonder, the company announced the launch event will be holding in London. The company is expected to unveil the Honor 20 flagship device at the event, and from the hashtag on the invite, we expect the Honor 20 to center majorly on photography similar to the flagship Huawei P30 series launched by its parent company weeks back.
There also appears to be a cryptic hint on the invite that suggests there could be more than one device in the lineup, perhaps a total of 4 as suggested by the “4,”. While it is certain there will be a base Honor20, Honor 20Pro and perhaps Honor 20 Lite, the company CEO George Zhao has announced a partnership with the fashion brand Moschino for a special edition Honor 20 smartphone similar to what it did for the Honor View 20 launched earlier in the year.
Expected to arrive as the Honor20 Moschino Edition, as per the images shared by the CEO is expected to come packed in a fancy case and a dedicated theme and perhaps some specially designed accessories. We are yet to behold images of the device, but we are confident it will get a design tweak different from other variants of the device, and that will most likely be evident on the design of the back panel.
We will bring you more details as they surface, so be sure to keep a tab on us at GizChina.
