Yesterday, we came to know about an unreleased Vivo Y15 smartphone that would soon debut in India. Now today, there’s another report about a Vivo Y3 handset that is tipped to launch in China soon, as per an exclusive report by IndiaShopps.

As mentioned in the report, the Vivo Y3 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and houses a 6.35-inch waterdrop notch HD+ display. Moreover, the handset has triple cameras (13MP + 8MP +2MP) on the rear and a 5,000mAh battery under the chassis. Now, if this sounds familiar, it’s because it is. The Vivo Y17 that launched in India recently pretty much has the same specifications. So, it’s not a surprise if Vivo rebrands the same handset with the Y3 moniker in China. In fact, there have been rumours about a Vivo Y5/Y3 launch in the country soon and this sits well the current report.
Pricing also is expected to be similar as the source suggests the Y3 will be placed on sale around the 1,400 Yuan mark. What remains to be seen is how Vivo will differentiate between the Y3 and Vivo Y5 models. For now, nothing is officially known but we should able to verify this information in the coming weeks.
