Lenovo YOGA S940 notebook with a 4K 3D curved glass hit the shelves


Today, the Lenovo YOGA S940 has been put on the Lenovo Jingdong flagship store and it is expected to commence sales on June 8th with a 12,999 yuan (∼$1882) price tag. This is the first laptop t be equipped with a 4K curved screen which supports TOF face recognition.

Lenovo’s Yoga S940 is equipped with a 14-inch 4K ultra-clear screen, the world’s first notebook with a 3D curved glass and it has a 92% display ratio. In addition to the high display ratio, this notebook has a PPI of 315, brightness up to 500nit, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 90% DCI-P3 color gamut, and it is certified by HDR400 and Dolby Vision.

Lenovo YOGA S940

The outer casing is forged from the 6-series high-strength aluminum and the 3D glass is self-protected. The three-sided all-metal body can easily cope with accidents such as collision and falling. The frame is 4.2mm, and the body is as thin as 12.2mm and it is 1.2kg in weight. The Lenovo Yoga S940 is equipped with a core i7-8565U quad-core processor coupled with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD but there is no mechanical hard drive. According to the company, it also supports 10 hours of long battery life and fast charge.
