Lenovo Z6 teased with a sleek design, launch iminent

Recall the Lenovo Z5 from last year that was heavily hyped, but ended up a disappointment, as it not only included a chin below the display, but also a relatively large notch up top. It also failed to deliver its promise of 4TB of native storage, albeit an option between a 64GB or 128GB memory. Well, that device could be getting a successor soon, as the brand VP Chang Cheng has teased a smartphone that is likely to be the sequel to last year’s Z5, the Lenovo Z6.

Gizchina News of the week

Much like last year’s Lenovo Z5, the Lenovo Z6 is expected to arrive as a mid-range offering, sitting between the Lenovo Z6 Pro and the Z6 Lite (youth edition). The teaser images clearly confirm we are dealing with the Lenovo Z6, given that the Z6 Pro and Z6 Lite are already official.  Aside from the fact, the device might arrive in Brown and Blue color options, and perhaps with a glass rear with a sleek finish, there isn’t much we could glean from the render, given that it only showcase a portion of the rear shell of the device with the company’s brand name. In any case, do not get excited just yet to avoid the type of misleading campaign that preceded the launch of the Lenovo Z5.

Detail about the alleged LenovoZ6 is still in the air, though there are speculations the Z6 might be same Lenovo phone that got certified at CCC (3C) portal with 18W fast charging earlier in May. And as for specific launch date, it is quite possible the LenovoZ6 will be announced just after a few teasers. The Z5 was announced back in 2018 on this day, so the Z6 official launch might not be far off.
