In April this year at the Huawei P30 series, Huawei released a wireless headset, Huawei FreeLace wireless headset, to support the Huawei HiPair flash which provides 18 hours of long battery life. At the time of its release, this headset was available in four colours. Now, the company has added a purple version which will sell from late July for 499 yuan ($73).
Huawei FreeLace adopts fine-tuning 28° beveled in-ear design. It perfectly fits the ear canal and also comes with a metal CD texture, diamond cutting edge, symmetrical cavity design, and the battery and wire control separate the sides. This keeps the center of gravity balanced and wearing is more stable. The metal cable is light and has excellent elasticity. At the same time, it is free to fold and automatically restore the original shape when freed. This makes it convenient for folding and storage because it does not entangle easily. It is said to have the feeling of wearing a necklace.
The Huawei FreeLace wireless headset comes with a built-in Hall magnetic switch which can intelligently recognize the state of the earphone, automatically disconnect when it is closed, and save power connection is swift and seamless.
It supports Huawei HiPair flash connect fast charging function for easy plug and play. In terms of sound quality, the 9.2mm ultra-thin TPU diaphragm is made of titanium-plated technology. The mid-range is calm, the layering and vocals are clear and translucent, thereby delivering a good Hi-Fi stereo sound. n terms of battery life, the built-in 120mAh battery, combined with low-power design, can continuously play music for 18 hours – 13 hours for voice calls or 12 days for standby.
