Wang Teng: Xiaomi CC9 & CC9e uses Xiaomi’s algorithm

Yesterday, the Xiaomi CC9, CC9e, CC9 Meitu customized version was released in Beijing Water Cube. However, some netizens believe that the Meitu algorithm should be used in other Xiaomi smartphones. In response, Wang Teng, Xiaomi product director said that the Meitu algorithm is exclusive to the Meitu version. The Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e comes with Xiaomi algorithm. For Wang Teng, users who want the Meitu algorithm can only consider the Xiaomi CC9 Meitu custom version.

The Xiaomi CC9 Meitu custom version comes with 8GB+256GB configuration. It also has 100% Meitu Camera and a special colour version. Besides these, the other hardware is exactly the same as the Xiaomi CC9. The camera function is slightly different because it uses a Meitu camera.

Looking at the configuration, Xiaomi CC9 uses 6.39-inch AMOLED water drop screen. Under the hood, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 mobile platform with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. In the camera department, this smartphone comes with a 32MP front camera. On the rear, it has a 48MP ultra wide-angle AI three-shot. The battery capacity is 4030 mAh. In terms of price, Xiaomi CC9 6GB+64GB version sells for 1799 yuan ($262). The 6GB+128GB version goes for 1999 yuan ($291) while Meitu version (8GB+256GB) has a 2599 yuan ($378) price tag.
