Honor Band 5 set for August 8 launch in India


Honor Band 5 will be launched in India on the 8th of August and will cost around Rs 3,000, according to an exclusive 91mobiles report. There are many features available in this fitness band including swim stroke recognition, stylish watch faces, and a continuous heart rate monitor. The Honor Band 5 will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in India. It will be competing with the Mi Band 3 which is a budget band and will soon to be replaced by the Band 4, which is already available in the Chinese market.

The Band 5 will come with a coloured display panel with a 0.95-inch touch screen AMOLED display. It has the resolution of 240 x 120pixels and 282ppi pixel density. The fitness band can withstand being in the water for up to 50 meters depth with its 5ATM rating for water resistance. The Band 5 can help monitor fatigue, dizziness, and poor sleep with the help of its 6-axis inertial sensor and blood oxygen
level tracker. The company claims that the device will last 14 days with a single charge, using a 100mAh battery.

The band has other features like remote camera, smart reminders, Find Your Phone, and more. It will allow the user to connect their phones to the band via Bluetooth to the Huawei Health App. The Honor Band 5 price is set at RMB 189 (about Rs 1,900) in China. The Honor Band 5 is available in Meteorite Black, Midnight Blue, and Coral Powder color options.
