Huawei Mate 30 Pro multiple color variants exposed in leaked live photos

Huawei Mate 30

We already got a glimpse of the Huawei Mate 30 series’ color options through a series of high-quality renders. Now a couple of real hands-on photos of the Mate 30 and 30 Pro emerged, also showcasing the multiple color variants.

Interesting enough, the leak also gives us a good glimpse of the Huawei Mate 30 and 30 Pro’s displays. While the Mate 30 has a smaller, but taller, notch, the Pro variant has a wider notch for the facial recognition system. The display in the standard version is flat, while the Pro variant will ship with a Waterfall panel. The effect is simply gorgeous, it’s like not having any side borders at all. Moreover, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s notch seems to come with a triple camera array. However, it will likely be a ToF camera paired with a light emitter and sensor.

The leak also reveals the Huawei’s Mate 30 Pro boot logo and start screen. Moving to the back, we can see the Black, Emerald Green, Space Silver, and Cosmic Purple colors. Both variants of Huawei’s upcoming flagship series will feature a Quad-Camera setup placed on a circular island. The setup will come with two 40 MP sensors alongside an 8 MP telephoto lens and a ToF module.

The standard Mate 30 will debut with a 4,200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging and 27W wireless charging support. The more powerful Mate 30 Pro bumps up the capacity to 4,500 mAh. Both phones will ship with the 7nm Kirin 990 SoC and EMUI 10 with Android AOSP out the box and supposedly no Google services due to the US ban restrictions.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro leaked unboxing Video:
