Honor 9X is getting a Icelandic White color option

Honor 9X

Remember the Icelandic White (Icelandic Illusion) color that Huawei has released for the Honor 20 Pro? This particular clean color is becoming a trend among Huawei Honor devices. The Chinese firm decided that it’s time to give the same paint job over the Honor 9X and 9X Pro.

Up until now, the Honor 9X was available in Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, and Charm Red. However, the Honor 9X Pro was also offered in one additional color option – Phantom Purple. The new Icelandic White color features a shifting tint with hints of pink, yellow and blue mimicking the light refraction properties of snow.

While this color look is beautiful, don’t hold your breath for it. Well, at least, not if you live outside of China. While the new paint treatment will be on sale in China starting tomorrow, there’s no word about international availability.

The Honor 9X comes with a 6.59-inch display and the resolution is 2340 × 1080. Under the hood, this smartphone has the Kirin 810 which integrates two A76 custom cores and six A55 small cores. It also integrates the Mali-G52 GPU and supports Kirin Gaming+ technology. In addition, the Honor 9X comes with a 48MP + 2MP AI dual rear camera setup. The 48MP camera is a 1/2-inch large sensor with the flagship ISP. It also supports Honor’s owl algorithm as well as AIS handheld super night scene.
