Among them, the Asus ROG Phone 2 refresh rate is up to 120Hz. Today, a report from XDA-developers shows that Xiaomi is developing a flagship with a 120Hz refresh rate display.
According to reports, Xiaomi added the refresh rate display code in the MIUI 11 Beta setting. In the setting, MIUI provides two choices of 120Hz and 60Hz. Selecting 120Hz will prompt a smoother pictures while 60Hz will prompt power-saving operation. This suggests that Xiaomi already has a 120Hz flagship device. From the setting options, MIUI does not provide the 90Hz option. For the time being, it is uncertain if the 90Hz option will join the stable version.
At present, the details of the new Xiaomi 120Hz device is not clear. In fact, there is no information about this smartphone. However, this feature will likely come with the MIX or digital series. Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will arrive in H1 2020 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Looking at the time schedule of the MIX 4, it will not be a surprise if it uses a 120Hz refresh rate display.
