Gizchina News of the week

The all-new Children Watch 2S comes with a price tag of 199 Yuan (roughly USD 29). The product is already up for grabs starting from today at Xiaomi Mall in China. Like with all the other products, we’re not expecting this one to hit other major global markets in the near future.

Specs, Features

Coming to the specifications, the Mi Rabbit Children Watch 2S is equipped with a 1.13-inch color touch display having a resolution of 240×240. Like its successors, the new iteration also follows the same design ideology with round dial and soft appearance. Considering the overall design and material choice, the product should be comfortable to wear for a longer period of time. Since this is a kids-focussed product, it comes with AI real-time positioning. This feature can indicate the accurate location of the user and works even in indoor settings such as a mall.

To keep the children from tinkering during classes, the watch comes with an ability to stay silent allowing only SOS messages and time checking. Furthermore, the watch comes with an integrated AI assistant called XiaoAI classmate. The assistant can help with answers to various questions, music playback, and other general stuff. Interestingly, the assistant is designed to help children with studies and it supports Encyclopedic reply. All of these are backed by a 600mAh battery packed inside. Thanks to the low power chip, the watch offers seven days of stand by time on a single charge.
