Huawei nova 6 4G & 5G full specs appears online


Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, is getting set to release its first 5G smartphone in the nova series. According to images of this device, the Huawei nova 6 5G version will have a red colour option. Not only that, this smartphone will come with a new “nova” brand logo at the glass rear. The usual “Huawei” logo is placed on the right side of the camera. The Huawei nova 6 will have both 4G and 5G versions with slight differences.

Both the Nova 6 4G & 5G will feature a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. In addition, both smartphones will also come with EMUI 10 on top of Android 10. These devices also use similar sizes although the 5G model is slightly bigger. The 4G model comes with the dimension 162.6 x 75.7 x 8.56 mm while the 5G model uses 162.7 x 75.8 x 8.98 mm. Although the 5G model uses a slightly bigger battery (4200 mAh), both devices support a 40W fast charge. Note that the 4G model uses a 4100 mAh battery.

Under the hood, both models will be driven by the latest Kirin 990 SoC and will come with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. However, the 5G model will integrate the Balong 5000 5G modem. The camera department for both models is absolutely the same.

The triple camera setup on the rear has a 40-megapixel main lens (f/1.8 aperture), an 8-megapixel ( f/2.4 aperture) telephoto lens with OIS, as well as an 8-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture) ultrawide lens. On the front, this smartphone will use a 32MP + 8MP sensor. The aperture on the 32MP front camera varies for both models. While the 4G models use f/2.0, the 5G model uses f/2.2.
