OPPO Under-Screen Camera Prototype Unveiled

OPPO under-screen camera

Today, OPPO held the 2019 Future Technology Conference. At the event, OPPO exhibited a very sci-fi smartphone, which uses an under-screen camera. So there are no openings and no physical buttons on the phone.

This phone’s power key and volume rocker are designed with pressure sensitivity. So the entire body has no openings. This not only makes the phone look outstanding and brings a technological look to the phone but also ensures more durability to the phone. In addition, the screen of this machine also has no openings. As you guess, it’s because the handset uses the under-screen camera technology. Officially, OPPO calls it ‘perspective panoramic screen’. Compared with the version that OPPO exhibited in June this year, its front camera area is way smaller. Thus, now it is easier to hide, and it is difficult to find without looking closely.
