Google Pixel 4

The launch of the new generation of Google Pixel phones has not been free of performance problems and technical failures. This is something that still happening at the beginning of 2020. Now, a new weird bug has been found in the “launcher” of these devices. The last system update makes the icons of the installed applications disappear.

Although the last security patch released last December has added a number of positive features for Google-branded phones. A change over the main interface makes some applications disappear from the mobile randomly. At least in regards to its icon, since they are still installed on the Smartphone.

Google Pixel adds a new problem to the list

Many users has reported having performance problems in the main camera of the Pixel 4 XL recently. Now, a new bug occurs on the operating system in its latest version and includes different models such as the Google Pixel 4, Pixel 3 and even the Pixel 2 XL. All with Android 10 and the December security patch installed.

The disappearance effect is seen on the Google Pixel main screen with the icons unloaded. Of course, the name of the applications are still displayed and users can run the application just by pressing on that empty space.

Also, the failure is more annoying in the box of favorite applications that the user configures. Since there if the icon disappears no label can be seen and it seems that the App has been removed from the device. For those who wonder how to avoid this problem, everything seems to happen randomly.
