Vivo revealed the Vivo S1 Pro back in November last year. Now, the smartphone is making way to one of the world’s most competitive smartphone markets – India. The S1 Pro joins its fellow competitors in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. The device retails for INR19,990 ($280/€250).
The Vivo S1 Pro is available in Mystic Black, Dreamy White and Jazzy Blue colors. You can buy one from the company’s official site, Flipkart, Amazon.in. However, it will also be available via offline stores across the country. The smartphone boasts the Snapdragon 665 SoC and Indian customers are already very familiar with this chipset. It offers an all-round experience in the mid-range level, can hold some games such as PUBG, but don’t expect the same pedigree of Snapdragon 7xx chips.
The smartphone is built around a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, it has a fingerprint reader underneath and a notch up top housing the 32MP selfie camera. Moving around to the back, we can see a Quad-Camera array arranged in a diamond formation. This setup is a combination of 48MP primary, 8MB ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor modules. The handset draws power from a 4,500mAh battery that charges through a USB-C port with 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging. The handset runs Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.2 running atop.
