Chinese manufacturer, OnePlus, is getting set to unveil its latest flagship series, OnePlus 8 series. According to the company, these smartphones will officially arrive on April 16th. Presently, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have already commenced appointment on JD.com. The appointment page also reveals some display information of the upcoming smartphones.
According to JD.com’s appointment landing page, the OP8 series will adopt an AMOLED flexible screen. This screen will also support 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC video frame insertion, and a 4096-level brightness. Furthermore, this display supports 1300 nits peak brightness, intelligent colour temperature sensor, and a 1.07 billion colour accuracy. The OnePlus 8 series display currently has DisplayMate A+ certification.
OnePlus will hold an online event where it will unveil the OnelPlus 8 series. These smartphones will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with up to 12GB of RAM. In addition, we expect features like a rear 48-megapixel main camera, a built-in 4300mAh battery, and support for 30W fast Charging. However, it seems that only the Pro model will support wireless charging capabilities.
