Facebook now lets everyone export media to Google Photos

Facebook

Now the Facebook tool for exporting photos to Google Photos is available to users around the world.

Facebook announced the possibility of exporting photos and videos to Google Photos at the end of last year. The tool was slowly introduced to other countries, and is now available to everyone. It is worth using it, especially if until now Facebook was the only place to store photos and videos.

Transfer photos and videos from Facebook

People who want a copy of their memories in Google Photos can now easily transfer them directly from Facebook.

Just in Facebook options click on your Facebook information and then in Send copies of photos or videos. After selecting the destination, we choose whether we want to send photos or videos. Unfortunately, both options cannot be selected at once. Finally, Google will ask you to confirm the entire operation. You can also download content from your profile directly to your disk.

Users will admire such a solution. If you want to export photos from Facebook to another part of the internet, you don’t need to first download them to your disk and then upload them again. If you lost or closed your Facebook account, you also don’t have to worry about losing photos and videos. And people who decide to remove their profile from the portal can quickly transfer all multimedia to Google. Soon there will be more places where you can transfer them.

The new tool is part of the Data Transfer Project, which was created to increase data mobility and easier transfer between different online platforms. Google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple and Microsoft take part in it.

Facebook unveils a tool to easily delete all your old posts

Recently, Facebook has launched the Manage Activity tool, which will archive and delete all old posts in one place. It allows you to archive content that you no longer want others to see on Facebook, but which you nevertheless wish to keep.

Facebook has also developed filters to help you sort and find what you are looking for, such as posts with certain people or those matching a given date range.

Perhaps you have just entered the job market after university, or perhaps you are trying to forget an old relationship, Facebook is aware that things are changing, and wants to help you to organize your presence on Facebook so that it more accurately reflects the person you are today.
