  • Update Google security patch (2020#07) to improve system security
  • Add front and rear dual scenes, support front, and rear cameras to record video at the same time

The front and rear dual-view video recording mean that the front and rear cameras can be simultaneously active. The front and rear pictures can be arranged side by side or in a picture-in-picture manner, which is more suitable for video masters.

This update weighs about 803MB although it is not a major update. Users need to ensure that they have enough internal storage and internet connection before attempting the upgrade. Even though this update may not lead to data loss, users are advised to backup all data before installing the update. It is worthy of note that the MIUI 12 beta on top of Android 11 is also available for this smartphone.
