According to the reports, the update comes with the version number V12.0.1.0.QDTCNXM just like most Xiaomi/Redmi phones. As usual, this update will not arrive on all units at the same time. The update is rolling out in batches. This means that you may have to be patient for this update to arrive at your device.

Of course, we do not expect the AOD+ and Super Wallpapers. The reason for this is pretty simple, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite uses an LCD display. Nevertheless, we have features like Dark Mode 2.0, the new Control Center, refined permissions, new animations, etc.

As for the global version, there is no information on MIUI 12 stable update. However, since the Chinese version is already getting this update, it may not take long to arrive the global version. As we may know, a majority of these updates arrived the Chinese versions before it goes global. There are speculations that the Poco F1 will be getting this update son. This is because both Poco F1 and the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite arrived at the same launch event.
