Nokia 5.3 landing page appears on Nokia India website


Finnish smartphone manufacturer, Nokia, has been quite cold since the advent of the coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, the company has a plethora of smartphones that are gearing up to hit the market. According to recent reports, HMD Global will release the Nokia 5.3 smartphone in India this month. The landing page of the phone is now active on Nokia’s India website. This page shows the specifications and functions of the phone.  This suggests that the launch of the Nokia 5.3 is imminent.

The Nokia India official website shows that this smartphone comes with a dimension of 164.3 x 76.6 x 8.5 mm and weighs 180 grams. The Nokia 5.3 uses a 6.55-inch LCD panel with a waterdrop design. The display supports HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This smartphone display comes with TÜV Rheinland certification. Nokia said

“With its extra-large display, we’ve also made sure to help take care of your eyes. That’s why Nokia 5.3 received Low Blue Light certification from TÜV Rheinland, meaning less strain when you’re taking in all your favorite apps, games, and videos”.

Under the hood, this device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. Also, it will have 4GB and 6GB of RAM as well as 64GB internal storage space. There will also be a microSD card slot for additional storage. The phone is pre-installed with Android 10 OS and is expected to receive a two-year software upgrade.

Furthermore, the Nokia 5.3 will use a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 5V/2A charging. According to the company, this battery can last for two days with its AI-assisted Adaptive Battery. This feature saves energy for the apps you use the most. In the camera department, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. There is a round camera module with LED flash on the back of the phone, including a 13-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

A fingerprint reader is also available on the back of Nokia 5.3. Other features include dual SIM card support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. This smartphone uses an elegant 2.5D glass front. In addition, the rear is scratch-resistant and very durable. The Nokia 5.3 will be available in Cyan, Sand, and Charcoal; three colour options.  Although the official information says nothing about the price, there are reports that this device will sell for about 1555 yuan ($224).
