Samsung teases Galaxy F-series ahead of the Galaxy F41 reveal

Galaxy F41

Samsung has pretty much reinvented its smartphone business last year with the arrival of the Galaxy A and M series. These devices have amassed a massive amount of users across the most important markets for smartphones. Now, with these two series pretty much established, the company is ready to unveil a new range of smartphones under the Galaxy F moniker. The first smartphone will be the Galaxy F41 and will be the first device for a class of camera-centric smartphones. The F41 is said to reach India with a price tag between INR 15,000 and 20,000 ($200 ~ $270). Today, Samsung finally confirmed the arrival of this new smartphone series which prepares the road for the new smartphone.

The South-Korean giant confirmed the existence of the new series and posted a teaser image on Twitter. The caption says “The new #GalaxyF will definitely leave a mark on you. Stay tuned to go #FullOn.”

Unfortunately, the company didn’t make any specific mention to the rumored Galaxy F41. But considering the number of leaks, like a recently spotted listing on Google Play Console, the F41 will be the device that will debut this series. The Galaxy F41 even was spotted on a support page sporting the model number SM-F415F. As previously expected, the support page appeared on Samsung’s Indian website and its user manual confirmed the waterdrop notch up to the top of the display. This display probably is of the AMOLED kind, but there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and not an in-display one. The panel is FHD+ resolution.

The handset also sports a Triple-Camera setup which includes a wide and ultra-wide camera. Unfortunately, the third module purpose still is unknown at this moment. Although we don’t know the exact specs of this camera, we would bet on a 64MP primary sensor from Samsung’s ISOCELL division.

According to a recently spotted GeekBench listing, the Galaxy F41 packs an Exynos 9611 chipset complete with 6GB of RAM. For now, it’s said to be a rebranded Galaxy M41 with more storage options and three new colorways. We don’t know how accurate these claims are, neither GSMArena does, especially considering the presence of a Quad-Camera setup on the Galaxy M31.

Now that Samsung has started the teaser campaign for the upcoming series, we don’t need to wait much time for more news in this regard. The Galaxy F41 should hit the market in October as Samsung tends to release new smartphones this month.
