Back in August, Samsung launched its flagship tablets namely Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ along with a bunch of flagship devices. With the new series of tablets, Samsung revived the Android tablet space by offering flagship-grade hardware. Soon after the global launch, the tablet made its way to other popular markets such as India.

One key addition to the Galaxy Tab S7 lineup was the high 120Hz refresh rate display panel. With a 120Hz refresh rate, the tablet offers a smoother scrolling along with a snappy user experience. Apart from this, a 120Hz refresh rate would come in very handy during gameplay only if the particular game supports hi-res experience. During the launch, Samsung Galaxy devices were not supporting the PUBG and Fortnite at 90Hz refresh rate.

Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ get Fortnite 90Hz support in the USA!

For Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ users, that seems to change now. Both Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ now supports Fortnite at 90Hz instead of the traditional 60Hz option. What this means that you will now be able to play the game at 90fps effectively. This further means that the gameplay experience should be much better. You will see smoother animations along with 50% more visual information.

To enjoy this new hi-res Fortnite experience, you will need to first update the game from the store. The update will be available starting tomorrow. After updating the game, you will also need to change the refresh rate from the in-game settings. With that said, make sure that you are also on a 90Hz or 120Hz  refresh rate from your device’s settings. It is also worth noting that the update might first roll out for the USA considering the news was announced by Samsung USA itself. After that, the rollout might hit more countries or regions.

More Galaxy devices might soon follow

Considering the Fornite 90Hz update will now be available for the Galaxy Tab S7 duo, it is safe to assume that more Galaxy devices that come with hi-res panels will soon join the suit. Whenever that happens, we will make sure to keep our readers updated. Like Fortnite, PUBG Mobile is another popular game featuring the same battle royale gameplay. Back in August, some OnePlus devices received the PUBG Mobile 90Hz support. It would be interesting to see whether the same will happen for Galaxy devices in foreseeable future or not.
